Ways to Save on Your Photoshoot

My goal as a photographer in Fort McMurray is to help you find options that work best for your individual situation. Fort McMurray is a community filled with families. With that being said, I am so lucky to meet families from not just all over Canada, but all over the world! That’s why I love it here in YMM. When I first started my photography business, I quickly learned there was a need for photography services tailored to families with small children, fur babies and more.

The biggest barrier my clients have come up to when it comes to photography is affordability. Here in Canada, the cost of living continues to rise. Although photoshoots are worth a lifetime of memories captured into a couple photos, I understand when times get tough, it may not be a top priority.

After a busy summer filled with photoshoots and travels, it had me thinking of all of you who are looking to save on your photoshoot. My season typically goes quieter in the colder months which means I can create time and space for bigger projects like photoshoot mini’s! Mini’s are a great way to get photography done at the fraction of the regular cost. For me, I can fill spots back to back to help maximize my time and the space I rent.

What’s included:

Flocked Christmas trees, greens, and dusty rose. A vintage couch, and decorations to make you feel like you’re in a Christmas movie from your childhood, or sitting opening gifts at an elderly relatives home.

A rotary phone, with a direct line to Santa Claus’s voicemail, for your kids to let Santa know what they want for Christmas. Aside from the moments captured through the magic of digital photography, the voicemail recording to Santa will also be saved and sent to you to keep and replay whenever you want, or to share with your children again when they’re older.

An entirely indoor shoot to keep your cozy and the formal outfits tidy.

Pets: Believe me I know how important our pets are, and how much they are an equal part of our families! if you wanted to include your pet in a photo or two, that will still be an option. There will be some outside space, where we can get a couple of shots in!

Ways to save on your photoshoot:

1. Keep your eyes peeled for promotions and mini photoshoots! We have offered them in the past and will continue to do so, so everyone has a chance to capture memories through photography.
2. With every Rose Warren Photoshoot, you have access to my exclusive client closet. This is a great way to save costs on a new outfit for the photoshoot!
3. If you’d rather wear your own outfits then use what you have! You’d be amazed at how beautiful a photoshoot is while you’re in casual clothing.
4. Some families love to do a yearly photoshoot instead of multiple times a year. Pick your favourite season, and book your photography session around that.
